Recommended Dilution:Neutralization: ND50 is ~0.025-0.075ug/ml in the presence of 1ng/ml of rhFGF6 and 1ug/ml of heparin, using the FGF6 responsive NR6R-3T3 fibroblasts as target cells.
The Neutralization Dose50 (ND50) for this antibody is defined as that concentration of antibody required to yield one-half maximal inhibition of the cytokine activity on a responsive cell line, when that cytokine is present at a concentration just high enough to elicit a maximum response.
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human FGF6.
The detection limit for rhFGF6 is approximately 2ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human FGF6.
The detection limit for rhFGF6 is ~0.16ng/well.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage, store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
