特徴

• Aurora A/AIK, a cell cycle-regulated serine/threonine protein kinase, is overexpressed in many tumor cell lines.
• Phosphorylation of threonine 288, which is within the activation loop of the kinase, results in a significant increase in its enzymatic activity.
• Aurora A/AIK is regulated by proteasome-dependent degradation, and phosphorylation on Thr288 may target it for degradation during mitosis.
• Thus, phosphorylation of Aurora A/AIK at Thr288 is important for both kinase activity and stability.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1,000.
• Incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
