Cofilin is a small actin-binding protein that plays a pivotal role in cytokinesis, endocytosis, embryonic development, stress response and tissue regeneration.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml detects phospho-Cofilin 2 in RIPA lysates from L6 cells, treated with LIM Kinase 1, active, Recombinant for 30 minutes.
Cofilin 2 is phosphorylated at Ser3 by LIM Kinase.
500ug L6 lysate was incubated with or without 100mU LIM Kinase at 30°C for 30 minutes.
Phosphorylation was terminated by boiling in reducing sample buffer.
Aliquots (10ug) were resolved by electrophoresis and subjected to Western Blot, using 1ug/ml C7506-51.
Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
