• The Presenilin-1 gene was recently discovered on chromosome 14 and is responsible for an early onset form of Alzheimer’s.
• It is a membrane protein that has a region where at least seven mutations have been identified in family members with Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
• The peptide corresponds to the C-terminus of this protein, which is exposed to the loop region.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Immunocytochemistry: Cos7, SY5Y cell lines.
• Western Blot: 1:500-1:3000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
