• The product of this gene belongs to the family of purinoceptors for ATP.
• This receptor functions as a ligand-gated ion channel with high calcium permeability.
• The main pharmacological distinction between the members of the purinoceptor family is the relative sensitivity to the antagonists suramin and PPADS.
• The product of this gene has the lowest sensitivity for these antagonists.
• Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified for this gene although their full-length natures have not been determined.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1-1.5ug/ml (1:200-1:300) using ECL.
• Dilutions should be made using a carrier protein such as BSA (1–3%)
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
