- CLOCK, a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH)/PAS protein, is an important factor in the molecular clock mechanism.
- Mutations in this protein lead to abnormal circadian behavior and defective transcriptional activity.
- CLOCK has been shown to interact strongly with other bHLH-PAS proteins such as MOP3, a BMAL1 isoform.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
- Other potential application, though not tested is Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-100ng of control peptide per well.
- Control Peptide:C5843-40: Clock, Rabbit (dClock) Control Peptide
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
