The protein encoded by this gene synthesizes the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
Alternative splice variants have been found that contain alternative 5' untranslated exons.
Three of the four described splice variants encode identical 69kD proteins while one variant encodes both the 69kD and a larger 82kD protein.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.

Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:2000-1:4000 in rat basal forebrain.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
