Cyclin E binds to G1 phase Cdk2, which is required for the transition from G1 to S phase.
The Cyclin E/CDK2 complex phosphorylates p27Kip1 (an inhibitor of Cyclin D), tagging it for degradation, thus promoting expression of Cyclin A, allowing progression to S phase.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
