Immunohistochemistry (Frozen tissue): 1:50-1:200 Western Blot: 1:5000-1:10,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity：Recognizes Collagen Type IV. Typically less than 1% crossreactivity against other types of collagens was detected by ELISA against purified standards. Some class specific anti-collagens may be specific for three-dimensional epitopes which may result in diminished reactivity with denatured collagen or formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissues. Reacts with most mammalian Type IV collagens and has negligible crossreactivity with Type I, II, III, V or VI collagens. Non-specific crossreactivity with other human serum proteins or non-collagen extracellular matrix proteins is negligible.
