Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:5,000-1:50,000Western Blot: 1:1000-1:10,000Immunohistochemistry (Frozen sections): 1:50-1:200 Immunoprecipitation: 1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Note: Some class-specific anti-collagens may be specific for non-denatuted three-dimensional epitopes which may result in diminished reactivity with denatured collagen or formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissues.
Greatly diminished reactivity and selectivity of class specific anti-collagen antibodies will result if denaturing and reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting are used.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Source Antibody:human
Grade:Affinity Purified
Purity:Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Form:Supplied as a liquid in BBS, pH 8.0, 0.005M EDTA, 0.01% sodium azide.
Specificity:Recognizes human Collagen Type IV. Typically less than 1% crossreactivity against other types of collagens was detected by ELISA against purified standards. Reacts with most mammalian Type IV collagens and has negligible crossreactivity with Type I, II, III, V or VI collagens. Non-specific crossreactivity with other human serum proteins or non-collagen extracellular matrix proteins is negligible. Species Crossreactivity: bovine
