• Avidin, synthesized in the hen oviduct, is a glycoprotein of MW 68,000 daltons which occupies about 0.05% of the total protein content of the hen egg white.
• Native avidin is a tetrameric protein composed of four identical subunits.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Immunofluorescence, and Western Blot.
• Other applications have not been tested.
• Recommended Dilution:FLISA: >1:20,000Western Blot: >1:10,000Immunofluorescence: 1:500-1:2500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Absorption Wavelength: 495nm
• Emission Wavelength: 528nm

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
