Uricase is very important for the determination of uric acid in biological fluids.
Not only is the reaction specific, it may be monitored at 292nm, 340nm or colorimetrically by coupled chromogenic response.
Non-enzymatic methods are interfered with by turbidity or the presence of aspirin, ascorbic acid, glutathione, paracetanol and many antibiotics
Uricase (urate oxidase) catalyzes the overall reaction that represents the termination of purine catabolism in all mammals excluding man, higher apes and the Dalmatian dog.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:5000-1:20,000Western Blot: 1:500-1:5000Immunoprecipitation: 1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer
Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.
仕様
Size:500ug
Host:goat
Grade:Highly Purified
Purity:Purified by delipidation, fractionation and ion exchange chromatography.
Form:Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and protease free), 0.01% gentamicin sulfate. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Specificity:Recognizes Uricase. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti-goat serum as well as purified and partially purified Uricase (Bacillus species). Crossreactivity with Uricase from other sources is not known.
