Ovalbumin is a glycoprotein and the major protein of egg white.
It has a molecular weight of 43,000.
Ovalbumin is used for conjugation or immunological determinations and drug and pharmaceutical processing.
Applications:Suitable for ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: 1:5000-1:20,000.
Assayed against 1ug Ovalbumin (Hen Egg White) in a standard ELISA using an IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb (I1904-46Q) and ABTS (A0030) as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT
Western Blot: 1:500-1:5000Immunoprecipitation: 1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
