Biotin/Protein Ratio: 10–20 BAC molecules per Rabbit IgG moleculeApplication(s): immunoblotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunomicroscopy as well as other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring lot-to-lot consistency.
Recommended Dilution(s):ELISA: 1:20,000 to 1:100,000.
Assayed against 1ug of goat IgG in a standard capture ELISA using peroxidase conjugated streptavidin.
A working dilution of of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C or colder.
Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
