• Insulin Like Growth Factor-II (IGF-II) is a polypeptide growth factor which stimulates the proliferation of a wide range of cell types.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Neutralization and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Direct ELISA: < 0.5ug detects 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hIGF-II using 100ul/well antibody solution
• Neutralization: 3.1-4.6mg/ml yields one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hIGF-II (10ng/ml)
• Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml detects recombinant hIGF-II at 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
