Lysozyme is synthesized predominantly in reactive histiocytes rather than in resting, unstimulated phagocytes.
This antibody recognized lysozyme in myeloid cells, histiocytes, granulocytes, macrophages, and monocytes.
This antibody is helpful in the identification of myeloid or monocytic nature of acute leukemia.
