特徴
- Superoxide Dismutases (SOD) are found in all aerobic organisms.
- Their physiological function appears to be to protect cells from free radicals by scavenging superoxide anions.
- They catalyze the dismutation of superoxide anions to oxygen and hydrogen peroxide.
- SOD Cu,Zn is a cytosolic enzyme.
- SOD Cu,Zn is a dimer of two identical subunits (M.W.
- 16,000).
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Gel Diffusion techniques.
- Other applications have not been tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
