Human TARC is a recently discovered protein belonging to the beta-chemokine (C-C) family of cytokines, secreted by activated monocytes, thymic and lymph node dendritic cells.
It is chemotactic towards activated T cells (Th2 subset) which express express CCR4 but ineffective on monocytes.
Human TARC is an 8.0kD protein containing 71 amino acid residues.
Applications:Suitable for use in Neutralization, ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Neutralization: 2-3ug/ml will yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human TARC (100ng/ml)
ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml using 100ul/well antibody solution In conjunction with biotylated anti-human TARC (T1020-05A) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 2000-4000pg/well of recombinant human IL-22
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml.
Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant human TARC is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
