Flt3-ligand (flk2-ligand), which stimulates the proliferation and colony formation of certain BM precursor cells including CD34+ cells, is a soluble 17.6kD polypeptide containing aa156 comprising the extracellular domain of the transmembrane flt3-ligand protein.
Applications:Suitable for use in Neutralization, ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Neutralization: 4-6ng/ml will yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human Flt3 Ligand (1ng/ml)
ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml using 100ul/well antibody solution in conjunction with biotylated anti-human Flt3 Ligand (F4600A) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 2000-4000pg/well of recombinant human Flt3 Ligand
Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml.
Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant human Flt3 Ligand is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
