特徴
- Triiodothyronine also known as T3, is a thyroid hormone.
- It affects almost every physiological process in the body, including growth and development, metabolism, body temperature, and heart rate.
- Together with thyroxine (T4), T3 exerts a potent influence on the basal metabolic rate.
- T3 is synthesized from the tyrosine residues of thyroglobin and is found in the serum of normal individuals.
- Although T3 has a lower serum concentration than T4, it is 5 to 10 times more active.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and RIA.
- Other applications have not been tested.
- Recommended Dilution:RIA (Titer): 1:100,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
