Muscarinic cholinergic receptor M5 is an Acetylcholine Receptor that is active during embryonic development.
It is coupled to phosphoinositide degradation and to the activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK).
The M5 receptor has been reported to be expressed in blood, brain, and ovary.
ESTs have been isolated from Human testis and placenta libraries.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
