Establishment of cohesion 1 homolog 1 (Eco1) is an acetyltransferase that is required for the establishment of sister chromatid cohesion during DNA replication, but not for its maintenance during G2 and M phases.
It is also required for postreplicative double-strand break repair.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
