DDX4 is an ATP-dependent DEAD-box RNA helicase found in the chromatoid body of the germ cells.
This enzyme is specific to the germ cells and is necessary for germ cell development.
Mouse DDX4 was shown to interact with Dicer suggesting its role in the icroRNA-mediated RNA silencing.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
