DRP-4 belongs to the hydantoinase/dihydropyrimidase subfamily.
It is required for signalling by class 3 semaphorins and remodelling of the cytoskeleton.
It also plays a role in axon guidance, neuronal growth cone collapse and cell migration.
It exists as homotetramer and a heterotetramer.
Antibodies against post-translationally modified DPR-4 are present in sera from patients with paraneoplastic neurological diseases.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
