Semaphorin 4A is a transmembrane protein that inhibits axonal extension by providing local signals to specify territories inaccessible for growing axons.
Defects in Semaphorin 4A cause retinitis pigmentosa which leads to degeneration of retinal photoreceptor cells.
Defects in Semaphorin 4A are also the cause of cone-rod dystrophy type 10.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20℃.
