特徴
- Prokineticin-2 is expressed in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) circadian clock and may function as the output component of the circadian clock.
- The secreted form of the encoded protein may also serve as a chemoattractant for neuronal precursor cells in the olfactory bulb.
- Mutations in this gene are associated with Kallmann syndrome 4.
- These patients have variable degrees of olfactory and reproductive dysfunction.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
- Other applications have not been tested.
- Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
- For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20℃.
- Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20℃.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
