Neurexophilin-4 belongs to the neurexophilin family where its members are thought to be signaling molecules that resemble neuropeptides and that act by binding to alpha-neurexins and possibly other receptors.
Neurexophilins share a common predicted structure composed of 5 domains: an N-terminal signal peptide, a variable N-terminal domain, a highly conserved central domain that is N-glycosylated, a short linker region, and a conserved C-terminal domain that is cysteine-rich.
Neurexophilin-4 is a secreted protein that is expressed in brain, spleen and testis.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20℃.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
