- Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF) is a potent mitogen for keratinocytes and epithelial cells.
- Human KGF is a 18.9kD protein containing 163 amino acid residues.
- Biological Activity:ED50 was determined by the dose- dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by KGF-responsive BaF3 cells to be ≤10ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of ≥1x10e5 units/mg.

- Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20℃.
- Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20℃.
- Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
