- GDNF protein was first identified as a trophic factor that promotes the survival of midbrain dopaminergic neurons during embryonic development.
- It later has been demonstrated to be a neurotrophic factor that plays an essential role in the development and maintenance of the central and peripheral nervous system.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Immunoprecipitation: 1:200-1:1000
- Western Blot: 1:500-1:5000
- Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:50-1:200
- Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20℃.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
