- Fibrinogen is a glycoprotein that is synthesized by hepatocytes in the liver.
- Fibrinogen alpha chain (FGA) is the alpha component of the fibrinogen, which is released to plasma after fibrinogen is cleaved by thrombin.
- Upon vascular injury, FGA forms the fibrin complex with fibrinogen beta (FGB) and fibrinogen gamma (FGG).
- The complex is one of the primary components of blood clots.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.2-1ug/mlImmunocytochemistry: 1-5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20℃.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
