Aeromonas sobria is a Gram negative and facultative anaerobic bacterium that occurs ubiquitously in aquatic environments.
It can infect a wide range of fish species and it is usually considered secondary or opportunistic bacterium affecting fish are usually stressed, have a weakened immune system or have skin lesions.

sobria infections can cause tail and fin rot, large ulcers, skin lesions, edema and organ damage in fish.
It causes gastrointestinal disorders and wound infections in humans.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:2000Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
