The covalent attachment of PEG is commonly employed to modify proteins and drugs that can increase their bioavailability and reduce immunogenicity and proteolytic degradation.
052322 is a rat monoclonal IgM antibody that displays high affinity to both short and long PEG molecules.
It displays specificity for the repeating subunits present in PEG and can bind a broad range of PEG molecules.
Use of CHAPS detergent instead of Tween-20 is highly recommended in all washing buffers.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: 5ug/ml of Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) (10K-PEG, 3K-PEG, and 2K-mPEG) were detectedOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
