特徴

• The tumor suppressor protein p53 is a key element of intracellular anticancer protection.
• It mediates cell cycle arrest or apoptosis in response to DNA damage or to starvation for pyrimidine nukleotides.
• It is up-regulated in response to these stress signals and stimulated to activate transcription of specific genes, resulting in expression of p21waf1 and other proteins involved in G1 or G2/M arrest, or proteins that trigger apoptosis, such as Bcl-2.
• The structure of p53 comprises N-terminal transactivation domain, central DNA-binding domain, oligomerization domain, and C-terminal regulatory domain.
• There are various phosphorylation sites on p53, of which the phosphorylation at Ser15 is important for p53 activation and stabilization.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry, Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Flow Cytometry: 1-5ug/ml.

• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4℃ if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20℃.
• Aliquots are stable at -20℃ for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
