Histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6), like other histone deacetylases, affects gene expression by regulation of chromatin remodeling.
HDAC6 contains an internal duplication of two catalytic domains which appear to function independently of each other.
Besides histones, HDAC6 deacetylates also other substrates including alpha tubulin and HSP90 alpha, and is involved in protein trafficking and degradation, as well as in affecting of cell shape and migration.
Deregulation of HDAC6 expression and activity is associated with many diseases.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Flow Cytometry: 0.5-4ug/ml.

Immunocytochemistry: 5-10ug/mlWestern Blot: 1-5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
