Ligand for dystroglycan.
Component of the dystrophin-associated glycoprotein complex which accumulates at the neuromuscular junction (NMJ) and at a variety of synapses in the peripheral and central nervous systems and has a structural function in stabilizing the sarcolemma.
Also implicated in signaling events and synaptic transmission.
Application:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:200-1:1:000Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:6000 (ABC detection) is recommended to detect dystrophin fresh frozen, or acetone fixed, 2% PLP fixed sections.
Not recommended for paraffin embedded tissues
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20℃.
Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
