Brain-specific proteoglycan in the aggrecan family (brevican), also known as brain-enriched hyaluronan-binding protein (BEHAB), is a brain chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan specifically expressed in the central nervous system.
It plays a role in development and formation of the brain extracellular matrix and may be involved in malignancy of brain tumor cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry (formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded): 1-10ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (frozen): 1-10ug/mlWestern Blot: 5-10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
