BMP-2 is one of at least 15 structurally and functionally related BMPs, which are members of the transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta ) superfamily, BMPs were originally identified as protein regulators of cartilage and bone formation.
However, they have since been shown to be involved in embryogenesis and morphogenesis of various tissues and organs.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1ug/ml with recombinant human BMP2ELISA (capture): 2-8ug/ml using 052067 as detection antibodyOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20℃.
Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
