• CD18 associates with CD11a to form a heterodimeric adhesion molecule known as Lymphocyte Function Associated Antigen-1 (LFA-1).
• LFA-1 binds to the intracellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1, CD54).
• CD18 also associates with CD11b and CD11c.
• CD11b and CD18 form the complex known as Mac-4.
• CD18 and CD11c form a complex that binds to fibrogen and iC3b.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Functional Applications, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
