Interferons (IFNs) are proteins made and released by lymphocytes in response to the presence of pathogens-such as viruses, bacteria, or parasites-or tumor cells.
They allow communication between cells to trigger the protective defenses of the immune system that eradicate pathogens or tumors.
Interferon-gamma effects gene transcription through binding with the interferon gamma receptor.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA (detection): 0.5-2ug/ml using 227046 as capture antibody.
To obtain a linear standard curve, serial dilutions of IFN-gamma recombinant protein ranging from 1000 to 8 pg/ml are recommended for each ELISA plate.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
