Hantaviruses are rodent-borne agents that cause severe human diseases.
The viruses constitute a group of antigenetically and genetically related envelope viruses with a tripartite, negative-sense RNA genome.
In northern, western and central Europe the Puumala virus (PUUV) is a predominant serotype.
It is the etiological agent of nephropathia epidemica, a mild form of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20℃.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
