• Lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronic acid receptor 1 (UniProt: Q9Y5Y7; LYVE-1, Cell surface retention sequence-binding protein 1, CRSBP-1, Extracellular link domain-containing protein 1, Hyaluronic acid receptor) is encoded by the LYVE1 (also known as CRSBP1, HAR, XLKD1, UNQ230/PRO263) gene (Gene ID: 10894) in human.
• LYVE-1 is a disulfide-linked, homodimeric, single-pass type I membrane protein that undergoes ligand-dependent internalization and recycling at the cell surface.
• It serves as a ligand-specific transporter trafficking between intracellular organelles (TGN) and the plasma membrane.
• It is mainly expressed in endothelial cells lining lymphatic vessels.
• It is expressed on both the luminal and basolateral surfaces of lymphatic endothelium.
• It is reported to mediate the uptake of intermediate and high molecular weight hyaluronan (HA) and serves as a low affinity receptor for HA-induced lymphoangiogenesis.
• It also controls the entry and/or migration of leukocytes in lymphatic vessels.
• The capacity of LYVE-1 to bind HA is based on a receptor distribution and organization of the glycosaminoglycans.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 2ug/ml detected LYVE1 (Lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronic acid receptor 1) in lysate from wild-type and LYVE transfected HEK293T cells
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20℃.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
