• Integrin beta 8 (Integrin b8) is a 90kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the Integrin family of adhesion molecules.
• It associates with Integrin aV to form a receptor for vitronectin, fibrin, and the latency associated peptide (LAP).
• Binding to LAP promotes the proteolytic release of active TGF-b from LAP.
• Integrin aVb8 is required for vascular morphogenesis in the embryonic brain and yolk sac.
• Within the extracellular domain, human Integrin b8 shares 87% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Integrin b8.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Flow Cytometry: 10ul/10e6 cells.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4℃ in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4℃ for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
