特徴

• BAFF is a type II transmembrane protein, and a member of the tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily.
• BAFF can be proteolytically cleaved to form a soluble protein.
• BAFF, like other TNF ligand family members, forms homotrimers.
• The predicted molecular weight of a BAFF monomer is ~31kD.
• BAFF is expressed on peripheral blood B and T lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells and is upregulated by IFN-gamma and downregulated by PMA/ionomycin treatment.
• BAFF stimulates B and T cell immunity and regulates humoral immunity by binding TACI and BCMA receptors; BAFF prevents apoptosis and promotes B cell survival by binding the BAFF-specific receptor (BAFFR/BR3).
• Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Flow Cytometry: 5ul/10e6 cells in 100ulOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4℃ in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4℃ for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
