Cytokeratins are a subfamily of intermediate filaments and are characterized by remarkable biochemical diversity.
They are represented in epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides, molecular weight between 40 kDa and 68 kDa.
The individual cytokeratin polypeptides are designated 1 to 20 and divided into the type I (acidic cytokeratins 9-20) and type II (basic to neutral cytokeratins 1-8) families.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Flow Cytometry: 1ug/ml.
Intracellular staining.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4℃ if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable at -20℃ for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
