CD105 (endoglin) is a homodimeric transmembrane glycoprotein serving in presence of TGFbetaR-2 as a receptor for TGFbeta-1 and TGFbeta-3.
CD105 is highly expressed on endothelial cells and promotes angiogenesis during wound healing, infarcts and in a wide range of tumors and its gene expression is stimulated by hypoxia.
CD105 prevents apoptosis in hypoxic endothelial cells and also antagonises the inhibitory effects of TGFbeta-1 on vascular endothelial cell growth and migration.
Normal cellular levels of CD105 are required for formation of new blood vessels.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Flow Cytometry: 20ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ulOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4℃ in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4℃ for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
