Casein Kinase 2 (CK2) is a ubiquitously expressed serine/threonine kinase that has been implicated in various cellular functions such as cell death, cell cycle regulation, and mRNA synthesis.
This protein kinase comprises of two catalytic alpha subunits and two dimeric beta subunits that associate to form a heterotetrameric enzyme complex.
CK2 is also involved in regulating viral infections
Applications:Suitable for use in Indirect Immunofluorescence (using A549 cells), Western Blot, Dot Blot, and Indirect ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 2-4ug/ml using total cell extract of HepG2 cellsOptimal dilution to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
