CD8b is the 32kD b chain of CD8, also known as Lyt-3 or Ly-3.
It is a member of the Ig superfamily expressed as a heterodimer with the CD8a chain on a subset of MHC class I-restricted T cells and most thymocytes.
CD8 is a co-receptor for the TCR complex involved in T cell activation.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Flow Cytometry: ≤ 0.25ug labels 10e6 cells in 100ulImmunohistochemistry (acetone-fixed frozen tissue sections): 5-10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
