NG2 / chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4 is expressed on glial cell populations, but not on normal hepatopoietic cells.
It is an integral membrane chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan expressed by human malignant melanoma cells, where it plays role in stabilizing cell-substratum interactions during early events of melanoma cell spreading on endothelial basement membranes, and supports signaling pathways important for tumor invasion and growth.
NG2 also serves as an AML blast tumor marker associated with poor prognosis.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul whole bloodOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4℃ in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4℃ for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
