TCR alpha V24-J18 chain is a marker of invariant NK T cells (iNKT).
This chain pairs mostly with TCR beta V11 chain, and together they interact with glycolipide-loaded CD1d.
This interaction results in iNKT activation and cytokine production (IFN gamma, IL-4, IL-13), which takes important part in immune regulation and host response to pathogens and cancer(support of both Th1 and Th2 way), although iNKT cells represent less than 1% of total peripheral T cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: frozenFlow Cytometry: 1-5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
