IL-13 is an immunoregulatory cytokine produced primarily by activated Th2 lymphocytes.
IL-13 shares 30% amino acid sequence homology with IL-4 and demonstrates similar biological activities.
The biological activities of IL-13 include: suppression of macrophage cytotoxic activity, upregulation of IL-1RA expression, and suppression of proinflammatory cytokine secretion.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Flow Cytometry (intracellular immunofluorescent staining) 5ul/10e6 cells in 100ulOptimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4℃ in the dark.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4℃ for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
